Raised floors for server rooms and data centres

In a server room the raised floor does more than hold racks. The void carries cables and acts as the plenum that takes cold air from the cooling units to the front of the racks. The right panels and accessories affect cooling for the whole room.

Which panel

Most server rooms use RhinoROC ROC200 at 4.45 kN concentrated load. With UPS, battery cabinets or very heavy racks, use ROC300 at 5.56 kN. The finish is factory anti-static HPL.

Perforated panels and airflow

Place perforated Airflow panels along the cold aisle in front of the racks, choosing the open area for the air volume you need. Seal cable cut-outs under the racks with AirSeal® grommets so cold air does not leak in the wrong place and underfloor pressure holds.

Rhino projects

PTT's data centre in Bangkok runs on 5,000 m² of Rhino floor. ANBS floored the whole SET data centre at North Park, Bangkok, in RhinoROC, and IRPC's data centre in Rayong has 4,000 m². Abroad, Rhino laid 1,300 m² in the technical rooms of the LNG Canada project.
