Citibank HQ, Bangkok: 27,000 m² under one of the city's great banking floors
The largest office floor in ANBS's Thai portfolio belongs to Citibank. Its Bangkok headquarters stands on 27,000 square metres of raised access flooring, put down by the company that has been lifting the city's offices off the slab for nearly thirty years.
Citibank awarded its Bangkok headquarters projects in 2009. By then Tok and Wes had already built the Rhino brand and opened a production line in China, and ANBS had a decade of bank head offices behind it. The project was LEED certified, and the 27,000 m² figure is still the first number ANBS puts in front of new clients.

Under a floor like this, power cables, data lines and underfloor air all run through the void beneath 600 × 600 mm panels on adjustable pedestals. Any tile can be lifted in seconds when something needs to change, which is what a busy bank needs from its building.
