Standard Chartered: Bangkok HQ and a regional partnership
In 2000, three years after it opened, ANBS won Standard Chartered's Bangkok headquarters. The bank went on to make the Bangkok firm and its Rhino brand a regional supplier.
The Bangkok headquarters took 12,000 m², with a further 4,000 m² across the bank's branches in the city.

Then the relationship crossed borders. Rhino floored the Standard Chartered headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, a building of 24,000 m², awarded in 2004. The Dubai headquarters followed in 2005 at 20,000 m², and Standard Chartered in Karachi took 5,000 m².
For Tok, and for the late Wes Carroll, the co-founder he credits with building the company alongside him, it showed that a small Bangkok firm could follow a global bank across the region.
