Access Floor Systems in Bangkok and Thailand

Asia Net Building Services Co., Ltd. (ANBS) is the Thailand representative of RHINO Access Floors. We supply, lay out and install access floors for data centres, server rooms, offices, control rooms and outdoor terraces in Bangkok and across Thailand.
What an access floor does
An access floor lifts the walking surface above the concrete slab on adjustable pedestals and covers it with removable panels. Power, data and cooling run in the void below, and any panel can be lifted when cabling changes. Layouts can be rearranged without breaking the slab or chasing walls, which is why access floors are standard in computer rooms and flexible offices.
Access floor, raised floor or raised access floor?
They are the same thing. Consultants in Thailand often write "raised floor" or "พื้นยก" in Thai, while manufacturers and international specifications often say "access floor" or "raised access floor". Whatever the drawing says, ANBS can match it to the right RHINO system.
RHINO access floor range in Thailand
- RhinoROC®: steel panels for data centres, server rooms and offices
- RhinoEU®: panels for European-style specifications
- RhinoAlutec®: aluminium panels for cleanrooms and high-airflow areas
- RhinoCross®: low build-up floor for offices with limited height
- iPed®: adjustable pedestals for outdoor terraces and roof decks
- Lindner NORTEC: calcium sulphate floor from Germany, also supplied by ANBS
Where access floors are used
Data centres and server rooms use access floors to carry power and data, and often to supply cooling air through perforated panels in front of the racks. Offices and bank headquarters use them so desks and cabling can move. Control rooms keep dense console cabling reachable. In Thailand, ANBS references include the MRT Orange Line, UOB Sathorn, Lhong 1919 and EGAT, where we installed Lindner NORTEC at substations and a RhinoROC system at EGAT South Station. See our case studies.
How ANBS delivers an access floor project
- Site survey: we check the slab, finished floor height, thresholds and services.
- Specification: we recommend the panel type, grade and finish for the room and its equipment.
- Submittals: we prepare the panel layout, product data and test reports for the consultant's approval.
- Installation: our own team sets out, levels and installs the pedestals, stringers and panels.
- Handover and after-sales: spare panels, panel lifters and support for later changes.

Access floor FAQ
What is an access floor?
An access floor is a floor of removable panels laid on adjustable pedestals above the structural slab. The void underneath carries power, data cabling and, in many computer rooms, cooling air. Any panel can be lifted to reach the services below.
Is an access floor the same as a raised floor?
Yes. Access floor, raised access floor and raised floor all describe the same system. RHINO calls its range RHINO Access Floors.
Can an access floor go into an existing building?
Yes. The pedestals are height adjustable, so they take up unevenness in the existing slab. The main limits are the floor-to-ceiling height, door thresholds and the ramps or steps at the edge of the floor. For tight heights, RhinoCross is a low build-up option.
