Raised floor panel types side by side
This table compares general characteristics of each group, not the technical data of any particular model. Always ask for the datasheets and test reports of the system actually offered.
| Type | What it is | Typical use | Consider | RHINO system |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Steel cementitious | Steel shell with a cement-based core; strong, solid underfoot | Server rooms, data centres, offices, control rooms | Choose the grade for the equipment loads | RhinoROC |
| Calcium sulphate | Solid high-density panel; quiet, close to a concrete floor in feel | Premium offices, acoustically sensitive spaces | Heavier panels; plan handling | RhinoEU (and Lindner NORTEC) |
| Aluminium | Lightweight, rust-free, non-magnetic, precision-made | Cleanrooms, high-airflow areas, data centres | Solid, perforated or grating to suit airflow | RhinoAlutec |
| Low-profile (cable management) | Shallow floor for organising power and data cabling | Office refurbishments with limited ceiling height | For cabling, not for underfloor air | RhinoCross |

Raised floor brands and suppliers in Thailand
The Thai raised floor market has both international brands and suppliers' own brands. Besides RHINO, international brands that appear in Thai searches and specifications include Tate, Nesite and Unitile. Lindner is a German brand that ANBS supplies as Lindner NORTEC for projects that specify it.
Searching for "raised floor Thailand" or "พื้นยก" also brings up a number of local suppliers and installers, including BSP Floor, Atrio, SMAC Corporation, T-Step, Raised Floor Thailand, Grand Built, Sitem, Eandt, VOV Group and Viatic. Some distribute international brands; others sell their own. Viatic, for example, is a Bangkok importer and installer of access floors and other flooring that sells raised floors under its VT Access Floor name.
This list was compiled from public search results in October 2026 for buyers' information only. It is not a ranking, and we have not assessed or compared the quality, prices or services of other suppliers. All names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
How to compare raised floor quotations fairly
Whatever brand you consider, use this checklist so every quotation is judged on the same basis:
- One complete system: panels, pedestals and stringers from the same tested system.
- Documents: datasheets, samples and test reports for the system actually offered.
- Panel type and finish: clearly specified and right for the room.
- Height and accessories: airflow panels, floor boxes, grommets, ramps and edge trims.
- Installation scope: slab preparation, cutting, night work and handover.
- After-sales: spare panels, future changes and a team in Thailand.

Frequently asked questions: raised floor types and brands
Which raised floor brand is best?
It depends on the room. Server rooms, offices and cleanrooms need different panels and finishes. Compare every brand on the same criteria: panel type, finish, height, test documentation for the complete system, references and after-sales support in Thailand. We recommend RHINO because it covers every panel group and has had a local installation team since 1997.
What is the difference between steel cementitious and calcium sulphate raised floor panels?
Steel cementitious panels are steel shells with a cement-based core: strong and used everywhere from offices to data centres. Calcium sulphate panels are solid and dense, quiet underfoot and close to a concrete floor in feel, and popular in premium offices. In the RHINO range these are RhinoROC and RhinoEU.
When should I choose an aluminium raised floor?
For cleanrooms, areas that need a lot of air through the floor, and data centres, because aluminium panels are lightweight, rust-free and non-magnetic. In the RHINO range this is RhinoAlutec.
Can I mix panels from one brand with pedestals from another?
We do not recommend it. Panels, pedestals and stringers are designed and tested to work together as one system. Mixing parts from different systems is a common cause of rocking panels, uneven joints and floors that do not perform as designed.
Where can I buy RHINO raised floors in Thailand?
From Asia Net Building Services Co., Ltd. (ANBS), the RHINO Access Floors representative in Thailand since 1997. We supply and install RHINO raised access flooring in Bangkok and nationwide with our own installation team.
How do I compare raised floor quotations fairly?
Give every supplier the same brief: floor area, height, panel type, finish, accessories and installation scope. Then compare the supporting documents, such as datasheets and test reports for the system offered.
